Once you have chosen to pursue Airframe and Powerplant Technician Certification, consider adding a few short months of education to achieve an Associate’s Degree, now available from MIAT. The added curriculum will round out your Airframe and Powerplant Technician training with essential academic skills to move into more complex technical positions and managerial roles. Employers who answered surveys from the MIAT Career Services Department stated they are looking for applicants who possess critical communication, problem solving, and analytical skills that can be acquired by completion of a college degree.
